Link your checking account to your Stockpile account automatically with PLAID.
Major Banks
If you have a checking account with one of the major US banks such as Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, it takes seconds to link your bank account using the integrated Plaid tool.
To link your major bank:
Login to your Stockpile App
Tap on the icon at the top left of the screen
Tap on Money Management
Tap on Link Bank Account
Tap on Use Plaid and then you will select Agree
Search your bank from the list of major banks and tap on your bank
Follow the on-screen prompts to link your bank (You will need to know your online login credentials for this bank, if you don't want to provide this information then you can still fund your account using a debit card as well.)
Choose the bank account you would like link (only basic checking accounts should be linked as other account types can result in a failed transfer.)
Smaller Banks and Credit Unions
For Smaller banks and Credit Unions you might not be able to find your bank listed on the plaid tool. If this is the case then you can still fund your account using a debit card.
Should you need to make a withdrawal from your account, email support@stockpile.com, and for faster service make sure to include your current mailing address.
Pro Tip:
Only Basic Checking accounts are able to be linked to your Stockpile account
There will be some banks that are unable to be linked to Stockpile.
If you are linking a JPMorgan Chase bank, this will often use a security number to mask your bank information. Your numbers displayed on Stockpile might look slightly different, but as long as this was completed using the Plaid tool, your transfer can complete like normal.
