When looking at the money management page of your Stockpile account, we show you three different amounts.

Investing Cash

The amount of uncommitted cash currently available to purchase stock.

Withdrawable Cash

The amount of uncommitted cash currently available to withdraw from your Stockpile account.

Pending Transactions

This amount represents money that is currently moving from one place to another for one of these reasons:

  • Pending Orders - Funds that have been allocated for a pending stock purchase order.

  • Unsettled Funds - When you sell a stock, it takes one trading day to receive the money from the buyer. This is referred to as the "T+1 settlement date." On day two, these funds will be reflected in your "Withdrawable Cash" unless otherwise allocated.
