A confirm (pronounced CON-firm) is a document confirming the execution of a trade.  It’s a lot like the sales receipt you get when you buy something at a store. You’ll receive a trade confirm the day after you buy or sell stock.  You should review it carefully to make sure there were no errors in your trade.
